FCC's Chuck Orr will serve as President of the Disciples Men for 2018
Charles (Chuck) Orr of Bertram’s First Christian Church began his duties as President of the Disciples Men for the Christian Church in the Southwest (CCSW) in September 2017. The CCSW encompasses 380 congregations in Texas, New Mexico and the panhandle of Oklahoma.
Chuck brings leadership experience, a deep knowledge of the Disciples of Christ church, a forward-looking perspective for the men’s group, and a love of the Lord. He knows the importance of taking time out of life to commune with God and talk to Jesus. His attendance at the Christian men’s retreats has been a rewarding experience he plans to share.
During his year of leading the men’s ministry, he will travel to many of the CCSW men’s retreats with a message to unite men in Bible study, prayer, ministry, outreach, evangelism, and fellowship.
Our prayers are with Chuck as he begins this exciting work for the Lord.
